WHAT WE DO
Expansion Beachhouse Hotel
Looking forward to 2040 the image is sketched of Zandvoort as the proud Pearl by the Sea+, the seaside resort of the Amsterdam metropolitan area. With the transformation and expansion of Beachhouse Hotel, an expansion of the hotel capacity (with at least 60 rooms) in the higher segment is planned. On the lower levels catering establishments are planned and on the top floor a sky bar with a view over the sea, the circuit, the dunes and the boulevard. The sophisticated nineteenth century architecture of Zandvoort has served as inspiration for the design. With example the chalet-style in which hotel Kostverloren was once built. We have deliberately opted for an extension of various small-scale volumes, in order to generate the character of a large sophisticated villa with outbuildings, characteristic of the original buildings outside the centre. In the field of sustainability, the BREEAM Very Good qualification is the ambition for this project.
